Mō mātou - About Us
Our name, Enliven, is a celebration of our beginnings, our heritage and the values we share. Our homes and villages are places where older people have companionship, choice, variety, fun, meaningful activity and a sense of purpose. Being part of our team means the opportunity to share in our values-based approach and be part of a not-for-profit service specialising in the support of our elders.
All residents at Levin Home for War Veterans are supported to maintain close connections with family, friends and the local community. That means the home if often a hive of activity with residents and visitors enjoying spending time together around the spacious home.
Mō to tūranga - About the Role
We have two part time positions available in our clinical team, one for a Registered Nurse and one for an Enrolled Nurse.
Working as part of our Enliven residential team in a peer-supported environment, you will be part of a team where everyone wants to deliver great quality aged care for our Elders. They may be living with us in our rest home, hospital or dementia wing, but no matter what level of care we provide we want to support independence and enable the ability to access and enjoy the many day to day activities at the Home and the things they love to do.
Our clinical team are responsible for supervising the provision of care by our Healthcare Assistants and role modelling best practice standards of healthcare and support for our elders to maximize their overall health and well-being.
There are opportunities to pick up additional shifts from time to time to cover for leave and absences, so a willingness and flexibility to assist with cover is always appreciated.
