Fixation Builders is a growing construction company that specialises in residential high-end new builds, renovations, and extensions in one of the most spectacular locations in the country.
We are expanding our team and have a great opportunity for a Foreman/Site supervisor.
Our team is a humble and hard-working crew. There are no big loud egos in our team.
We have a small like-minded team passionate about what they do and like to make the most of what Queenstown has to offer outside of work. Whether you are local or have been looking to make the leap to move to Queenstown we would like to hear from you.
Our work diary is still booked out for at least two years. Our projects provide a lot of variety, ranging from high-end architectural new builds to renovations and extensions.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Planning, prioritizing, and organizing work
• Leading the team and delegating daily tasks.
• Organize build times and when subcontractors are on site.
• Performing all tasks involved in and related to the construction of a residential building and required landscaping and groundwork.
• Ensuring all staff demonstrate competent use of carpentry tools and equipment, and handling of carpentry equipment and materials whilst on site.

We are after a candidate with at least 5 years experience.

Applicants should also:

• Have experience to enable them to supervise other members of the team
• Be able to read and understand plans
• Ideally be a qualified builder
• Work very well in a team environment
• Have an ability to manage jobs from start to finish including subcontractors
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• A good understanding and respect for Health and Safety regulations and compliance.
