Are you looking to kick start your IT support desk career? Join Findex as an IT Support Analyst!
We are looking for a naturally curious and enthusiastic team member who truly enjoys solving issues and maintaining great relationships. In this role, you will act as a first responder and provide professional, first level IT technical support services to Findex staff and partners, ensuring a high level of customer service to agreed service standards. As an entry level position, this is the perfect opportunity to help with incoming staff requests, while technical competency is developed and nurtured by and with the wider team’s support.
This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible working conditions, and is open to candidates across Australia and New Zealand.
What will your typical week look like?
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming IT service desk requests via phone, web chat, email or service desk platform. Creating and escalating tickets as required.
- Provide timely and high quality first level resolutions to customer incidents and service requests on first contact wherever possible, following agreed process guidelines, work practices and service standards.
- Assist with ticket reporting, identifying trends and ways to improve our client experience by reducing the need for recurring tickets.
- Learn basic systems administration, software support, maintain IT infrastructure, and develop general IT skills.

- Experience in a customer facing position (any industry).
- Tertiary education in an Information Technology field highly regarded.
- Exposure to Service Management teams and environments.
- Working knowledge of ITIL framework an advantage.
