About the role
The Parks Officer primarily provides technical support and advice to the Asset Manager within the Sportsgrounds portfolio to provide the community with the facilities and services they need in our open spaces. This includes:

Supporting the annual capital works programme and contributing to project management

  • preparing reports and advice to Council
  • Maintaining Parks and Reserves databases to ensure the correct information is collated and retained.
  • Ensure account enquiries and the payments of invoices are handled in a timely and accurate manner


About you
Our ideal candidate is a go getter, with the ability to work across a range of work activities, with a focus on the finer details. You will have strong experience in the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in managing account enquiries
  • Producing reports
  • Community engagement
