Our client is a 3rd generation family-owned company and has been in operation for over 60 years. They import and distribute fire safety and gas-powered tools to the hardware, safety and DIY industries.

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Storeperson to join a small, dynamic team and help manage the daily operations of their modern warehouse based in Islington.

Due to the nature of the role, we are seeking someone who is physically fit and capable of assisting with all labouring duties.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday from 8.00am-4.30pm

Pay Rate:

• Up to $35.00p/h – depending on experience

Daily duties will include:

• Inventory control
• Pick packing orders
• Container devanning
• Forklift operating (F+OSH)
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Some heavy lifting – up to 25kg
• Computer data entry
• General warehouse labouring duties as required

Applicants need:

• Full class 1 driver’s licence with F endorsement
• Own reliable transport
• Current forklift OSH certificate
• Proven experience within a similar role, confirmed by referees
