New world The Sands is opening its doors the next month! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can’t wait to join the Papamoa Community!

We have an exciting new position within the store for a driven Online Assistant Manager (2IC) to join the team.

The Role

  • Support the Online Manager to plan and organise the day to day running of the online team and online shopping department.
  • Plan and monitor work progress from the start of the picking order life cycle to complete of order by delivery or click & collect.
  • Lead and motivate the online team, ensuring best practice policies and operational procedures are followed at all times.
  • Ensure items are picked, packed, processed and invoiced for a customer’s order accurately and efficiently.
  • Contribute to continual improvements and initiatives to help improve online shopping experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous supermarket experience within a supervisory or leadership role is desirable.
  • A commitment to superior customer service.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
  • Tech savvy.
  • Can continue working to a high standard under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to forward think.
