At SportSocial, we organise and implement a wide range of social sports leagues and tournaments across Auckland. Our goal is to deliver professional, well-organised, and super fun competitions that bring people together through sport.
As the largest provider of social sports competitions in Auckland, we have been operating for over 13 years and continue to grow. Our leagues cater to a variety of sports, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to stay active and have fun playing the sports they love.
The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and sport-loving individuals to help oversee the running of our Football & Netball competitions. This is a great opportunity to gain entry into the sports industry or for someone who loves sports and wants to supplement their earnings with a part-time role.
Your role as Competition Manager will involve:
- Building relationships with players and teams
- Creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere at the competition
- Supporting Match Officials
- Delivering and reporting all aspects of the competition professionally
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Further considerations:
- The role is casual, with shifts from 1 to 4 evenings per week (Monday to Thursday, starting from 4 pm/5 pm and finishing around 9 pm
- Experience in Netball and/or Football is preferred.
