Our client is seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to join their team in Wellington. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing data surveys, managing and mapping data, and creating compelling data stories. You will work closely with our Business Insights Team, providing input into design, ensuring data quality, managing storage, and delivering comprehensive reports. Your ability to develop and execute a medium-term data plan will be essential in identifying our data needs and current sources. Your skills in designing data surveys will be utilised as we establish agency baselines. Your stakeholder engagement skills will ensure successful cross-agency collaboration. * Work closely with the Business Insights Team to support design, data quality, storage, and reporting * Develop and deliver a medium-term data plan, identifying data needs and sources * Manage, analyse, and report on workforce data * Design data surveys for agency baseline establishment * Engage with stakeholders across the public sector * Apply system thinking to view the public sector as a whole
