At Central ITM, we offer a comprehensive range of building materials, hardware and timber to our trade customers, the rural community and DIY market.

We are looking for a Hiab Driver / Yard Hand with a "we'll see you right" attitude to join our team in Feilding.

The job will involve the following:

• Operating a Hiab Crane: Safely and efficiently operate Hiab cranes to load, unload, and deliver materials to various locations.
• Delivery Duties: Transport goods to customer sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Yard Operations: Assist with general yard duties, including organising materials, unloading and loading trucks, maintaining equipment, and keeping the yard clean and safe.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their delivery needs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience operating Hiab cranes and delivering goods. Previous yard hand experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license (minimum Class 4) with a clean driving record, trailer and forklift license would be an advantage.
• Hiab certification would be an advantage, however training would be provided to gain the qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

A competitive hourly rate is on offer aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the team. This is a full time opportunity working Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm. Some Saturday work required.
