This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a profitable client portfolio and promote NZ-made, sustainable, technically complex flexible packaging solutions. Your focus will be in Industrial solutions and some Primary and Agriculture clients.
We're seeking an energetic and engaging Auckland-based Account Manager, covering the mid to upper North Island.

- Work from South East Auckland office (when you're not seeing clients) with some out of town travel required (just a few nights a month - plan your own schedule / diary).

Your Role
- Manage a portfolio of clients across the mid to upper North Island, handling their daily and future requirements.
- Build and maintain multi-level relationships (including at packaging plant level).
- Offer expert advice and technical support (strong mechanical and flexibles technical aptitude required to give best advice).
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
- Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals (including tender documents).
- Analyse margins, prepare forecasts, and oversee stock control.
- Consistently deliver 100% client satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
- A can-do attitude, high energy, and a professional yet approachable communication style.
- At least 3 years' experience in Account Management, KAM, National/Territory Management, or similar (experience in packaging, labels, or manufacturing required).
- Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced, independent role while maintaining excellent communication.
- Strong numerical literacy with experience in cost analysis and forecasting.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and the ability to write and present tenders.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude would definitely be advantageous.
- Tertiary Qualification in Commerce, Business or Engineering would be looked upon favorably. However, relevant experience is most valued.
- Full clean NZ Driver's License and flexibility to travel.
