Mō te tūnga | About the role
Waikato Police need attention to detail, time management and communication skills to ensure our vehicle fleet is fit for purpose.
The purpose of this role is to oversee a centralised vehicle fleet system to ensure compliance and identify opportunities to optimise fleet use.
To be the enabler to our frontline and other supporting workgroups in managing the Waikato District vehicle fleet of 300+ vehicles.
Key Accountabilities:
- Problem solving skills to make sound decisions and judgements to ensure our people are safe and organisational risk is mitigated.
- Administrative fleet management tasks with the use of Microsoft word, excel and Outlook.
- Engagement with local fleet service providers and partners.
- Managing a large variety of internal fleet enquiries and requests.

Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence.
This role is based in Hamilton. Some travel may be required within working hours.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
