As we continue this growth journey, we have 2 exciting opportunities available in our Architecture team – Solution Architect - Security, and Solution Architect – Platforms.

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

These positions will focus on turning complex challenges into clear technical solutions - you’ll bridge the gap between strategic business goals and technical execution. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting alignment to policies and practices across technology implementations, ensuring that AA’s IT capabilities are future-ready, secure, and aligned with the organisation’s broader vision.

You'll bring your expert-level visual storytelling and stakeholder management skills to both technical and non-technical audiences, working across departments and associated entities to drive innovation, clarity, and impactful outcomes.

About You | Mōu

To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong analytical and communication skills, a solid understanding of Solution Architecture, and the ability to quickly grasp business strategies. You’ll be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and comfortable challenging the status quo. Relevant qualifications and architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF or BCS) are required, with additional certifications in Agile, Lean, ITIL, or Design Thinking considered a plus.

Alongside this, in the Solutions Architect - Security we are also looking for experience in Information Security related roles, and a good understanding of threat modelling as well as working with control frameworks like CIS and NIST.

For the Solutions Architect - Platforms you’ll have experience in Systems administration or engineering, experience in public cloud (preferably AWS) and certification in AWS Architecture or equivalent.
