Here at Best Car Rentals based in Frankton, Queenstown, we're seeking a passionate Rental Fleet Coordinator to help maintain our fleet and ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience for our customers. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for hire while supporting daily operations. The position involves a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Clean and groom vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards for presentation.
  • Perform vehicle checks on cleanliness, body condition, and basic mechanical aspects.
  • Organise the yard and off-site storage to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct damage assessments and report findings to the Branch Manager.
  • Assist with keeping fleet current and fit for purpose.
  • Help with vehicle collection and delivery to and from the airport, wash bay, overflow parking, and off-site suppliers or buyers.


We're looking for someone with the following:

  • Punctuality and a good attendance record.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • A valid full NZ driver's licence.
  • Right to work in NZ - We are currently only accepting applications from candidates within New Zealand.
