About the Role:

We are seeking a Teacher in Training in their first or second year who is nurturing, caring, and passionate about working with infants. Located in the heart of Manurewa, our multicultural centre provides quality early childhood education, fostering confident learners ready for life. If you're dedicated to supporting our most vulnerable tamariki, making a real impact in young lives, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a permanent, 30-hour-per-week (Monday - Friday) role where you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while studying for your Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma (first or second year preferred)
  • Passion for infant care and early childhood education
  • Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, Te Whāriki, and compliance
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive teaching
  • A nurturing, caring approach and a strong team player
