BestStart Montessori Rongotai is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Certificated Teacher to join our well-established, supportive team. Our centre, located on Rongotai Road in Wellington, is situated in a diverse area that blends suburban and industrial influences. About the Role
We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about early childhood education. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education (ECE) or Diploma of Teaching (Level 7) with current Teacher Certification
- Montessori Diploma (AMI or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child-led learning
- Good knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and a strong commitment to compliance
- Dedication to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi in teaching practices
- Passion for providing high-quality education and fostering a love of learning
