Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As part of the Infrastructure Service Delivery Team the Service Enablement Lead is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and promoting the infrastructure service catalogue and transition playbooks within the Infrastructure and Digital Workplace capability area.
This role ensures that all Infrastructure Services are effectively documented, published automated, and aligned with the organization's goals and service delivery standards. The lead will own the Service Transition playbook and will work closely with IT Operations, Service Management, Delivery teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions for new or updated service.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Service Catalogue Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the infrastructure service catalogue. Ensure that services are accurately documented, clearly defined, and categorized for easy access by stakeholders across the Technology group.
- Service Transition Management: Lead the development and lifecycle of the Transition Playbook. Partner with Service Owners and Projects to execute transitions for new or changed infrastructure services.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve service transition and catalogue management processes. Drive initiatives for optimizing efficiency and consistency.
- Work with Service Owners, ITSM and automation teams to automate service catalogue items
- Evangelizing Best Practices: Promote understanding and compliance with the service catalogue and transition playbooks.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all relevant documentation related to the service catalogue and service transitions are up-to-date, detailed, and accessible.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the service Management capability to ensure the ITSM roadmap aligns with the maturity required to improve the service catalogue.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks related to service transitions or gaps in the service catalogue, working with appropriate stakeholders to address and mitigate issues before they impact service delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from stakeholders, tracking service delivery metrics, and identifying opportunities to enhance the service catalogue and transition processes.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of role and as required by senior leadership.

- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
- ITIL Certification – in particular service catalogue management and service transition.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration - Foster strong communication and collaboration across teams
- Demonstratable experience in transitioning large projects and suppliers in an out of support
- Experience in building, guiding and publishing technology service catalogues
