Mō te Tūranga - About the Role
As a Banking Specialist in our Contact Centre, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing the banking needs of both existing and new Westpac customers, including personal and home lending requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Listening and Advising: Provide tailored advice and solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring all information is collected in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Proactive Engagement: Identify new opportunities to offer further advice and solutions, helping customers achieve their financial aspirations and retaining our valuable clientele.
- Customer Interaction: Contribute to the success of the business and our customers through solution-focused interactions.
- Product Expertise: Offer the best customer advice and quality outcomes for existing and new customers through lending, insurance, and transactional products.
- Financial Guidance: Provide sound financial advice to ensure our products are suitable for helping customers reach their financial goals.
- Exceptional Customer Experience: Create a world-class customer experience by being empathetic, trusted, and knowledgeable.
- Growth Mindset: Develop a career path in the finance industry with a growth mindset.
- Time Management: Effectively prioritize your time while working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Hours of Operation
Your ordinary hours of work are 7.5 hours per day between 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
