The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa
Here’s your time to shine in a role that offers collaboration, compliance and creativity! Join our Transport and Infrastructure business, as a T&I Instructional Designer, supporting our Learning, Development & Training function.
This role will see you consulting with business experts and developing, reviewing and updating training and assessment material for our Front-line employees. Your focus will be on inductions and capability development with resources including written/paper, digital, video, learning programmes, assessment workbooks.
This is an 18-month Fixed Term, Full Time opportunity and can be based from either Wellington, New Zealand. Occasional travel will be required to connect with key stakeholders, expenses covered by Downer.
Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua
With experience in developing training material and a firm foundation of adult learning principles and practices, you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle this role.
We’d also value;
- Extensive knowledge of L&D trends in workplace-based learning
- Experience developing both digital and Face to Face programs and learning and assessment resources
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and with software to develop learning material
- Self-managing: Can work independently, take initiative and achieve project milestones and deadlines
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Superb stakeholder and relationship management skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach to your work
