About the Role

We're looking for someone wanting to gain experience working in Marketing and Events from 5-20 hours per week. This is ideal for a uni student, someone who is just about to graduate or someone looking to enter the events industry. You'll play a crucial supporting role in the planning and execution of various events. This is a fantastic chance to learn the ins and outs of event management, from initial conception to post-event analysis. You'll be working closely with experienced professionals, gaining practical skills and building your professional network.

The Role Will Involve

• Assisting with event planning and logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, and budget tracking.
• Contributing to the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
• Providing on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and attendee satisfaction.
• Assisting with post-event tasks such as reporting and data analysis.
• Contributing to creative brainstorming sessions and offering innovative ideas.
• Performing administrative tasks as needed to support the event team.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
• A passion for events and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full New Zealand drivers licence with a clean driving record
