We are reshaping the way we deliver IT services at Massey University and are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Projects Coordinator. You’ll know what it takes to best support and coordinate project management activities and to ensure all projects are managed in line with departmental standards. Your expertise will be crucial in providing advice, guidance, coordination and administrative support to ensure projects are successfully delivered.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
The Senior IT Projects Coordinator supports the Projects Delivery practice by providing a central point of coordination and support for all projects. There will also be opportunities for you to spread your wings and take on some project management responsibilities of your own.

This is a full-time position, and the team is based on our Palmerston North campus.

The salary range for this role is $56,622 - $80,006 based on skills and experience.

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

• Provide a central point of coordination for all projects.
• Ensure project reporting, risk management, and financial management controls are in place.
• Support the Practice Lead in building a complete picture of current and planned project activity, resource needs, and an integrated view of project risks and issues.
• Work with internal and external project managers to ensure projects are managed in line with departmental standards.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to major projects.

Ko koe tēnei | Who You Are

• Tertiary qualification in IT or business management.
• Industry-recognised certification in Project Management at any level.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT or IT-related position with experience in project support.
• Familiarity with project management tools, processes, and reporting.
