About you
Our BAS Manager role provides an exciting opportunity for a challenging and rewarding career, where you will be exposed to a wide variety of client work that will showcase your strong accounting, advisory, financial modelling, analytical and interpretative problem-solving skills. CA/CPA qualified, you are an experienced people leader with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues and develop a team that can deliver to deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and take responsibility for the delivery of a “final” product to Partner for sign off.
- Manage client relationships and oversee a portfolio of clients with input from the Partner.
- Take a leadership role in developing staff, including graduate staff. This includes teaching and developing junior staff high quality accounting methods and processes.
- Assist staff with more complex issues and take a leadership role in finding solutions and achieving outcomes.
- Undertake higher level special work as and when required and assist partners with Advisory work.
- Provide input and assistance with any special projects that arise within your portfolio of clients.
- Have input in staff recruitment and the performance appraisal process.
- Attend prospective client meetings with the partners and assist in business development activities.
