We are looking for a Store Person who is wanting to get out of the depot every now and then to drive our trucks and deliver goods to our customers.

The role is predominantly based in the Warehouse but will sometimes help with Truck deliveries, a Class 2 Truck Drivers License is needed for this role.

Job Description:

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the organisation and freight of our depot as well as timely and safely delivering our goods to our clients.

This dual-role position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks.
• Position pallets and sort freight and verify the accuracy of delivery documents and freight.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the depot.
• Safely operate and maintain company trucks for the delivery of goods.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and transportation regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.

Qualifications:

• Class 2 Truck License.
• Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Forklift license is required.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
