Ko tō tūranga – your role
As a Commercial Analyst - Infrastructure within our dynamic Finance team, your role is to conduct analysis and provide insights that will boost operational & financial performance across OneNZ’s Infrastructure portfolio.

This exciting position includes the monetization of OneNZ’s valuable infrastructure assets, efficient management and optimisation of our property footprint, and driving cost efficiency in infrastructure. You'll excel in stakeholder management, offering crucial support to the Commercial Manager – Infrastructure, and contributing to various deliverables as needed.

We are looking for a top-notch candidate with outstanding commercial skills, a keen eye for detail, a strong performance focus, excellent organisational abilities, and robust relational skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have solid contract interpretation skills.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

Carry out commercial modelling & propose pricing strategies for the monetisation of infrastructure products
Support process management & design, for optimising infrastructure build & operate spend with key vendors (e.g. Downers).
Support assessing opportunities of various AI solutions to drive optimised commercial outcomes.
Support the Commercial Manager - Infrastructure, working with internal stakeholders across Infrastructure divisions to carry out internal review & management of the sign-off
Support in developing a 3-5 year infrastructure property roadmap
Collaborate with internal and external legal teams, technology teams, and external stakeholders to formalise commercial agreements into contract form.
Support clear articulation of commercial models, mitigation of commercial risks, and complete initial reviews of drafts before sending to the Commercial Manager for review.
Carry out ad hoc commercial analysis as required to support the deliverables of the wider NetCo portfolio (including Technology, Data & AI divisions)

Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

2+ years consultancy, telecommunications or infrastructure experience
Strong skills in excel analysis / spreadsheeting
Ability to analyse data and derive insights
Problem solving, frame working and strategic thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to review legal contracts and provide recommendations (preferred but not essential)
Understanding of the property industry or experience with property-related projects (preferred but not essential)
Promotion of team culture via agile working, encouraging collaboration among peers
