About the Role: 

If you have a passion for teaching young children and are currently enrolled to study in a level 7 ECE programme (ECE Bachelor), we want to hear from you. This is a permanent part time position working 26 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You will be working in our Rua classroom alongside our over 2-year-old tamariki. Rua is a busy classroom with children leading their own experiences with guidance and support from the Kaiako, intentional teaching experiences and learning is weaved throughout the day. We have a big outside area, with sandpits to explore, messy play areas, mud kitchens, a lazy river with running water.

Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor course 
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning 
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices 
Show great initiative, can think on your feet, someone who communicates well and is a team player.
