Transactional Implementation Manager
Full time, Permanent role
Based in Auckland OR Wellington
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As Transactional Implementation Manager you will play an important role in positioning Westpac as the leader in transactional banking solutions in New Zealand. You will be responsible for providing service excellence in managing the establishment of transactional products and services for high value business customers. Your primary customers are businesses and corporates who choose to transition their transactional banking relationship to Westpac and existing customers who choose to make use of additional transactional products and services offered by Westpac.
You will manage the migration of transactional banking products and services for new to bank customers with more complex transactional banking needs (Implementation Projects) to ensure that these types of migrations occur without unplanned business disruption to the customer. You will also manage high volume transaction changes resulting from mergers and acquisitions (DDs, APs etc.)
As a specialist in electronic banking, you are also responsible for the establishment of Corporate Online instances for new and existing customers including:
- Customer needs analysis
- Assisting the customer with document completion
- Assistance the customer with import and export file testing
- Providing the customer with training
- Assisting the customer during initial round of payments including payroll and creditors if required.
- Establishing and maintaining billing profiles

- Financial Services Industry experience of at least five years combined with Transactional Banking Experience of at least two years
- Successful delivery of Project / Implementations in a project manager role
- Experience working with business customers
- Proven ability to build relationships
- Ability to work closely with remote teams spread across different geographic areas
