Job Description
The Work:
As the Senior Frontend Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the frontend development team in designing, developing, and implementing user-centric web applications. Your expertise in React and modern web technologies will be pivotal as we transition from Single Page Applications (SPA) to a Micro frontend architecture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the modernization of our web applications by transitioning from SPA to a Micro frontend architecture.
- Architect, design, and develop complex frontend solutions using React, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and technical debt, ensuring the long-term health of the codebase.
What You Need:
- Experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience leading teams in the development of large-scale web applications.
- Extensive experience with SPA architecture and a strong understanding of the transition to Micro frontend architecture.
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers, such as Webpack, Babel, npm, and Yarn.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and React component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, BFF and other backend integration techniques.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
