Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Downer holds three (3) Facilities Maintenance and Management Services contracts with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF). These 3 contracts cover 4 main camps and bases, 2 National Museums and approximately 25 satellite sites.
The role requires the BWOF Compliance Lead to lead the compliance and quality aspects to support the National Asset Team in the delivery of all contractual requirements to the clients.
- Ensure the compliance obligations are carried out to a consistently high standard, ensuring that we are meeting and exceeding all compliance related KPIs.
- Continually looking and striving for continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
- Support the asset management, operations, projects, and management team to deliver a quality and timely service to the clients
- Develop strong, collaborative customer relationships and ensure customer interactions are positive and constructive
- Deliver all services in accordance with our Downer Values
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
- Have hands on experience with Facilities and Property Management.
- Knowledge and experience in compliance with NZ national and local legislation. BWOF, RMA, HSNO etc.
- Proven contract management experience at a contract support level and a suitable level of experience in the facilities or service industry
- Experience in data analysis to provide meaningful insight into performance and identify areas of risk and improvement requirements.
- Good understanding of NZ Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of work quality standards and auditing.
- Clear demonstration of leadership behaviours that empower others.
- A mature approach to work, coupled with an ability to demonstrate initiative.
