Job Description

The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our courier delivery team on a fixed term agreement within the Takanini/Papakura Region of Auckland

This is a FIXED TERM position and is not a permanent position. This fixed term is for approximately 7 weeks with work available until Thursday 19th June 2025.

  • Immediate Start available to the right candidate.
  • Full training provided
  • Mon-Fri 6.00am-5.30pm (55 Hours per week),
  • No Weekend work required
  • Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour + 8% Holiday pay (Paid weekly)


You must have transportation to / from East Tamaki for this role as you will start and end your day at our Highbrook Branch.

Duties include:

  • Driving an automatic transmission Toyota Hiace van.
  • Sorting through and arranging freight into delivery area in the morning.
  • Deliver and pickup parcels in the Takanini Region in a set area.
  • Assisting with urgent deliveries and pickup jobs as required.


The ideal applicant will:

  • Must be able to confidently drive an automatic transmission van.
  • Have a full, clean driver licence.
  • Have confident communication skills.
  • Have geographic knowledge of the South Auckland region/suburbs.
  • Have previous freight experience (not essential).
  • Be able to manage a diverse range of duties.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Be physically fit – Some heavy & repetitive lifting required (up to 25kg).
  • No prior injuries.
  • Reliable, Punctual and Honest.
