  • Role will be based at our National Office, Te Whanganui a Tara/Wellington
  • We're offering a competitive salary starting from $147,010 to $162,887, depending on experience


Mō te tūnga | About the role

We're seeking a Principal Analyst to provide strategic advice and project leadership at Oranga Tamariki. In this role, you'll deliver timely reporting and insights to drive continuous improvement and enhance performance across the Ministry. You'll oversee enterprise performance frameworks, connecting operations with strategic outcomes, and support planning and prioritisation decisions.

Some key requirements of the role include:

  • A tertiary degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience, is essential
  • 5+ years in a performance measurement role or relevant experience in strategy, analytics, and/or planning
  • An in-depth understanding of performance frameworks, monitoring and reporting within a complex organisation
  • Proven project management skills, particularly in management of multi-faceted, complex and multi-stakeholder pieces of work
