Bay Venues …. Haven’t heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – the iconic Mount Hot Pools, Baywave, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the kaitiaki of 24 facilities in Tauranga Moana, we proudly offer a range of activities and experiences intended to put a smile on the dial of our community.

Bay Venues is looking for an Operator who will assist with the set up, presentation and operation of the Baypark facility. This is a physical role that also has a proactive customer service element.

This role will:

Ensure that the venue is set up prior to customers arriving at the venue
Operate key machinery required for setting up the events/activities/programmes ie forklift, EWP (or equivalent), etc.
Undertake the safe operations of gear and equipment
Ensure buildings and site are clean, safe and secure
Complete ground and other maintenance as required
Work proactively with customers

The ideal candidate will have:

Be physically fit and self-motivated
Ability to retain professional demeanour and think clearly under pressure.
Be able to lead yourself and occasionally others
Customer service focused
