What you'll do:
The Senior Community Fundraising Manager plays a pivotal role ensuring the long-term growth and success of KidsCan’s community fundraising efforts. Leading a small team to develop and execute KidsCan's community fundraising strategy, you will be responsible for managing a range of fundraising initiatives and steward supporters within the community. Your ability to foster relationships and mobilise individuals, schools and community groups to support KidsCan will be key to your success in this role.
- Work with the Head of Partnerships, Fundraising and Individual Giving and Senior Events and Fundraising Manager on developing the annual fundraising and events plan in line with strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Community Fundraising Specialist.
- Develop and implement a long-term community fundraising strategy to maximise revenue growth.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative large-scale peer to peer community fundraising initiatives to drive engagement with community groups, schools and individuals.
- Develop best practice retention strategies and engagement plans to retain community fundraisers and develop potential lifetime giving. This includes cementing KidsCan as the charity of choice for school fundraising.
- Implement stewardship strategies to grow and recognise supporter contributions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop campaigns and content that highlights impact and drives a pipeline of new fundraisers.
- Manage the budget and expenditure for community fundraising activities.
- Represent KidsCan at community events, schools and small businesses when required.
- Champion the use of NetSuite and Raiser’s Edge CRM systems.
