Here’s an opportunity to lead NZME’s commercial function in the South Island assisting in the development of advertising solutions that grow our customers' businesses. This role can be based in Dunedin or Christchurch.

You will work in collaboration with commercial and content teams to bring campaign strategies to life.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT:

  • Assist in the development of an annual commercial strategy for the South Island which (as part of a team) maps out how revenue targets will be achieved.
  • As the multi-platform media expert, educate both sales teams and customers on industry trends, insights and our audiences.
  • Conduct regular revenue analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Alongside the Regional Manager and Sales Managers, support our Media Specialists in growing their customer portfolios and building successful relationships.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and insights to inform new commercial strategies.
  • As the Commercial Manager for the South Island, ensure all sales solutions and go-to-market collateral are customer-centric and meets the brief.


ABOUT YOU:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, marketing or media is preferred, but not essential.
  • Proven marketing or commercial campaign management is essential.
  • Prior experience in commercial sales management is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and relate confidently with stakeholders internally and externally.
  • An eye for good design and strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint experience a must, Adobe Creative Suite advantageous).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Be excited by change and innovation.
