Are you an administration superstar. Do you want to make a difference to New Zealand's tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and communities? Are you looking for a role with variety?

Come and join our great, supportive, and fun team and grow your administration experience to new heights in our Care and Protection team based in Homai Site, Wiri, South Auckland.

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Be responsible for administration needs to support a range of casework activity.
  • Assist with financial plans, including maintaining accurate records and reconciliation of workplace financial activities
  • Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other key stakeholders including various cultural groups and backgrounds
  • Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk
  • Effectively identify and escalate risks where appropriate and look for opportunities to improve operations.
  • Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will bring;

  • Strong administration and coordination skills
  • Full clean New Zealand drivers licence
  • Strong computer and Microsoft skills
  • Experience in financial systems would be advantageous
  • Effective organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
