Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Director Specialised Business, this role will see you take ownership and responsibility for a complex portfolio of corporate and business banking customers, you will work through complex financial scenarios, providing solutions and ensuring your actions are professional and acting in the best interest of our customers and WNZL.

You will review and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts, make recommendations and prepare credit and funding submissions.

Attend client meetings and liaise with external accountants, solicitors, consultants and insolvency specialists.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business or similar is desirable
Experience within a corporate, business or property team at a major financial institution in a lending, credit or restructuring role would be advantageous.
You could also come from an Audit, Big 4 or CA environment or a relationship role within business or Institutional Banking.
Previous experience in roles involving a high degree of pressure and/or complexity would be useful
Strong financial analysis skills
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
Knowledge of lending processes and an understanding of loan and security documentation
General knowledge of insolvency law would be advantageous
Knowledge of Bank systems, Risk Grading and Provisioning policies
