Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs for mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in machinery, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to improve system performance and reliability.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize operational downtime.

Qualifications:

• New Zealand Trade Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., NZ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
• New Zealand Electrical Registration (e.g., Electrical Service Technician (EST) or Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB)).
• Health and Safety awareness and training (e.g., Site Safe, First Aid).
• Experience with maintenance software and diagnostic tools is beneficial.
