With a very strong commercial presence, they are the only textile company in New Zealand that services clients across all commercial market sectors; Hospitality, Aged Care, Education, Healthcare, and Office.

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join the Commercial sales team, who will be responsible for selling all Warwick brands into the markets above, managing and growing relationships with Architects and Designers, as well as a range of commercial furniture manufacturers and resellers.

This is a busy position that will suit a highly motivated, relationship focused salesperson, who will bring their relentless energy to grow the business and ensure that all opportunities to promote Warwick are maximised within the project space.

Ideally, the new Account Manager will already be active in the A and D market, with established relationships within these firms.

The right person will be focused on developing partnerships, so that the company is front of mind for specification when a project is in design stage and will secure opportunities to tender for projects at every opportunity.

The Role:

  • Managing and growing existing Architectural and Commercial Interior Design accounts
  • Seeking out Developing new business opportunities across Architectural and Commercial Interior Design accounts
  • Managing clients in the Commercial Furniture space, which includes resellers and clients within high-end residential market
  • Building credible relationships with clients to identify and ensure Warwick specification across a range of projects
  • Implement Warwick's promotional activity to gain visibility of all Warwick brands
  • Managing existing projects, ensuring clients’ needs are met, from quotation to completion
  • Maintaining CRM system records
  • Attending networking events, socialising with clients


About You:

  • Must Have recent and relevant experience working with the Architectural and Interior Design market and a sound understanding of how it operates.
  • You are an excellent communicator, dynamic and driven.
  • Sales experience from within a comparable commercial interiors industry.
  • A creative, design orientation. Ability to naturally influence and provide sound advice.
  • Is engaging and gains the respect of clients. They look forward to your visit.
  • Is motivated to achieve. Continually strives to increase business.
  • Ability to seek new business opportunities.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload with travel to Wellington for one week out of 8 and shorter trips within the North Island.
