Their team of over 60 staff provides innovative specialist services in the disciplines of project management, project planning, resource management planning, civil engineering and surveying from offices in Auckland and Christchurch.

They are currently involved with some of the largest development projects in New Zealand, in a variety of fields including irrigation, tourism, health, commercial, residential and infrastructure, for corporate, government and private clients.

The Role
They are currently seeking a Chartered Professional Senior to Principal Level Civil Engineer specialising in Land Development and/or Three Waters Engineering to join their team in delivering a range of Projects. You will be involved in and have the opportunity to lead a wide range of exciting projects

About You

• Hold a relevant qualification such as a Bachelor of Engineering or National Diploma in Engineering.
• Current Chartered member of Engineering New Zealand
• 6+ years of land development and/or three waters engineering experience in NZ
• Overseeing all project stages from Concept to Detailed Design
• Confidence and ability to review other team members work, and certify works as a CPENG.
• Proficiency with 12D or AutoCAD, EPA net, Stormwater and 2d flood modelling packages and Microsoft office.
• Ability to provide support/training to Junior Civil Engineers
• Have an understanding of the RMA and planning processes
• Competent with 3910 contract management including Engineer to the Contract.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards and codes
• Superb mathematical, time management and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
