Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role

As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient transport operations while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Your role will involve:

• Customer Coordination: Managing customer orders, ensuring timely and professional communication, and resolving any service issues efficiently.
• Driver & Fleet Management: Coordinating driver schedules, ensuring they have accurate and timely information, and making sure all deliveries are completed on time and within legal driving hours.
• Operational Efficiency: Working closely with transport supervisors to optimize fleet utilization, monitor delivery performance, and implement improvements to meet DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time) targets.
• Administration & Reporting: Accurately inputting order details into SAP, generating reports, processing invoices, and tracking transport performance metrics.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Promoting a safety-first culture by adhering to company policies, reporting hazards, and ensuring all transport activities comply with H&S regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Logistics Experience: Previous experience in transport coordination, dispatch, or logistics (preferred).
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and managers to ensure seamless transport operations.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Quick thinking and proactive approach to resolving delivery challenges and customer concerns.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using SAP (or willing to learn) and other transport management systems.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate order entry, reporting, and coordination to keep operations running smoothly.
• Customer-Focused Mindset: Dedicated to providing top-notch service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Own Transport: You'll need your own reliable transport to get to work.
• Visa Requirement: Candidates must have at least one year of open work visa to be eligible.
