Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Audit Manager to join our Auckland Audit Team.
Baker Tilly Staples Rodway, one of New Zealand’s largest independent business advisory firms, is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Auckland Audit team. Our firm specialises in Accounting, Business Advisory Services, Audit, and Taxation. The success of our business is based on innovative thinking, professional growth, high-calibre talent, and access to global resources through the Baker Tilly International Group.
In this role you will be:
- Preparing papers on technical matters
- Reviewing completed engagement files
- Managing multiple small to medium sized engagements
- Delegation of work to team members and supporting their development
Skills and experience needed
- Degree in an Accounting or related discipline
- A Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail and strong time management skills
- An ability to engage with clients and team members
- Systems knowledge (bonus points for CaseWare)
