Job Description

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role within our Dunedin branch that will see you responsible purchasing and maintaining stock levels.

  • Manage branch inventory as per our best practice documents for inventory and cycle counting process
  • Managing all special orders while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and driving cycle count to ensure the accuracy of our inventory.
  • Ensuring accurate receipt of product and investigating any stock discrepancies and resolving items out of stock promptly
  • Ensure all product returns, repairs and warranty claims are processed and followed up on
  • Forecasting stock levels and run monthly reports.


This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday.

About you:

  • To thrive in this role, you would need to be a keen learner and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Proven experience in Inventory management/Inwards goods, ideally in retail or distribution
  • Computer and numeracy knowledge with the ability to quick adapt and systems oriented
  • Thrive on problem solving as well as great attention to detail
  • You will also be a solid all-rounder who takes great pride in your work and can multi-task while working to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work autonomously and enjoy being part of a cohesive and successful team.
