About the Team
The Marketing and Recruitment function comprises of three central units; University Marketing, Web, and School and Community Engagement. Its purpose is to enhance brand reputation with multiple and diverse communities, attracting high-quality prospective students, and building sustainable relationships through customer-first, personalised experiences.
The team is responsible for multiple customer touchpoints including brand strategy, marketing campaigns, social media, content marketing, schools outreach and community engagement, digital experiences, events and sponsorships.

Do you have a creative flair, excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for social media? We are looking for a creative and adaptable professional to join our collaborative team.
The Social Media Coordinator will support the Social Media Manager and Senior Advisor with the planning, creation and implementation of social media across multiple channels. The primary purpose of the role is to oversee the implementation of the annual content calendar. In addition, the role will create and curate social content to reach and engage with target audiences, keep up to date on social trends/ best practice, assist in reporting and support implementation of community engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinate and maintain the annual social media content calendar.
- Assist with day-to-day management of social media channels using a social media management tool.
- Proactively propose new and creative ideas for organic social media content to align and amplify marketing campaigns and events.
- Assist with analysing social media performance and effectiveness
- Develop effective relationships with faculties, service divisions and student content creators to support and maintain a customer focused and user-centric approach.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent role. The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $77,100 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in a wide range of Social media platforms, who is comfortable working in digital environments and is highly skilled in creating content for a wide and varied audience.

- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Passion for brand and social media with a thorough understanding of different social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube and TikTok.
- Creative thinker who looks for new ways to enhance social media activity and engagement with relevant audiences.
- Ability to understand how different audiences engage with social media to ensure relevant and engaging content.
- Effective communicator with the ability to craft a compelling story through excellent written, verbal and visual skills.
- Experience with filming and editing videos and creative software.
