Job Description
Our client, KidsCan, seeks a Partnerships (Sponsorships) Manager in Auckland. This role offers the chance to drive impactful partnerships and Sponsorships, supporting children across New Zealand. You'll play a key role in maximising income through strong partner relationships, ensuring strategic alignment that benefits both the organisation and its partners.
What you'll do:
As the Partnerships (Sponsorship) Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement bespoke partnership/sponsorship plans tailored to the needs of the organisation and its partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of key business partners to enhance engagement and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Provide partners with opportunities to leverage the organisation’s activities, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship.
- Lead the on-boarding of new partners ensuring collaboration with other internal teams.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with partners, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on benefits and expectations.
- Drive partnership revenue by actively engaging with partners and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
- Monitor and report on partnership activities, including speaking engagements and event participation, with a focus on return on investment and effort.
- Manage and maintain accurate partner CRM data in NetSuite to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Partnerships (Sponsorships) Manager role brings:
- Proven experience in partnership/sponsorship management. Contract negotiation would be a bonus.
- Strong background in Marketing and PR.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and manage detailed partnership and activation plans.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data management.
- Experience in delivering presentations and representing the organisation to external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
