He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Auckland Council’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing unit has an opportunity for an HSW Coordinator to join the team! This role is a permanent,40hour position and an excellent opportunity to build experience in the HSW space, with a supportive team to guide you.

This Coordinator position is a pivotal role as you will support the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Team with case triage, document management, project support, training and communication co-ordination to continuously improve health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for Auckland Council and our kaimahi.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:

  • Case/report triage
  • Responding to queries
  • Document/content management
  • Project support
  • Training and communication coordination
  • Supporting the HSW leaders and team


He kōrero mōu: About you
We’ll be looking for someone with a passion for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing and a continuous improvement lens! If you have an eye for detail, like a variety of tasks and working with technology, this could be the role for you. Ideally you will come from a coordination or business administration role in HSW, Human Resources or other corporate support function, or from a HSW support role such as H&S representative. A flair for written communications will be highly advantageous.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

  • Project coordination or similar administration activities
  • Customer response
  • Training and/or communication activity co-ordination
  • Working on SAP
