Leadership Opportunity in Full-Signage Manufacturing

Our client is a leader in manufacturing full signage solutions for some of New Zealand’s most well-known multi-site organizations. They are seeking an experienced Signage Team Leader, Supervisor, or Production Manager to join their team in a hands-on leadership role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position involves leading a team of approximately 15-20 skilled professionals, including machine operators, fabricators, finishers, printers, and installers. The role is based on the production floor and will require both hands-on production and strategic oversight.

Key responsibilities include:

• Team leadership: Guide a high-performing production team to meet tight deadlines while maintaining morale.
• Production scheduling: Planning monthly, weekly, and daily workloads, while adapting to changing priorities at short notice.
• Quality assurance: Ensuring all products meet exceptional standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Process improvement: Utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact.
• Health & Safety: Manage and oversee adherence to all H&S policies and foster a safe working environment.
• On-Floor assistance: Be available as needed to help production meet deadlines and complete work.
• Clear communication: Create a collaborative work environment that ensures all key team members are aligned and fully understand their roles and responsibilities
