The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Test Manager to lead their testing team. The company is growing rapidly and embracing technology to achieve its connectivity and productivity business goals.

This brand-new role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of their products and processes by leading and optimising the testing function across a programme of initiatives.

It will be essential in enhancing test automation practices, implementing key metrics for performance monitoring, and leading the evolution of the testing framework and processes.

Driving the quality and efficiency of the testing teams, the Test Manager will ensure that testing is integrated seamlessly into the delivery process and is aligned with broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on team development, servant leadership, and the creation of a robust, data-driven testing strategy that supports the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective servant leadership, guiding and empowering the test team to deliver high-quality outputs while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Review and redefine their strategic approach to testing, aligning with business objectives and project requirements.
  • Ensure that testing processes are aligned with the overall delivery methodology (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall, etc.) and facilitate timely and accurate test execution.
  • Lead the test automation strategy and ensure its consistent application across projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on test data insights, industry trends, and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders, product owners, and development leads to understand project requirements and quality expectations.


Qualifications and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in test management or QA leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing the deliverables of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools (including test automation).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Copado, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders, from developers to senior leadership.
  • A financial services background would be a big plus.
