About the Role We are on the hunt for a friendly, responsible, and tech-savvy Venue Assistant to join the Fore Seasons team. This role is crucial in delivering a top-tier customer experience, overseeing bar operations, managing memberships, handling inquiries, and ensuring the venue remains clean and functional. The ability to work independently and stay composed during busy periods is essential.

Role Details:
Position: Venue Assistant
Employment Type: Part-Time (Sole charge shifts required)
Hours: 12-24 hours per week on a roster, including some evening and weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Venue Operations
• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
• Guide guests on using the cutting-edge golf simulators, including setup and gameplay instructions.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Provide tips to enhance customer enjoyment of the facilities.
• Remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations, managing multiple customer requests simultaneously.

Membership & Customer Engagement
Assist with membership sign-ups and inquiries, fostering strong relationships with regular patrons.
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance member satisfaction and retention.

Bar & Hospitality Duties

• Serve drinks and snacks in compliance with liquor licensing laws.
• Monitor and manage stock levels for bar and snack areas, restocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.

• General Venue Maintenance & Administration
• Handle phone, email, and social media inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Keep the venue clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
• Ensure smooth setup for bookings, events, and corporate functions.

Skills & Experience Required

• Bar Manager's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills - friendly, professional, and approachable
• Strong IT/technical skills - ability to troubleshoot simulator issues (training provided)
• Self-motivated and responsible - ability to work independently during sole-charge shifts
• Organized and efficient - ability to multitask and keep the venue running smoothly
• Comfortable handling busy periods, especially on wet weather days
• Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Golf knowledge is a plus but not required
