Location: Radius Care Support Office, 56 Parnell Road, Parnell, Auckland
Hours of Work: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (flexible)
The primary role of this position is to carry out various administrative and financial tasks for the organization, ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Receivable processes. Due to the nature of the business, the billing process is complex (with different billing parties and pricing structures), so we are looking for someone with significant experience working in an Accounts Receivable environment. Experience in the aged care industry or health care environment would be an advantage.
Key tasks for this role include:
This role is a key member of the Support Office team and responsible for the provision of high-quality accounts receivable services. You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of invoices for various Radius Care Home residents, generating monthly statements, reconciliation of customer accounts, and engaging with both family members, residents and Government Departments.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Control and manage the Accounts Receivable Ledger for the assigned Care Homes.
- Handle complex weekly and month-end billing across multiple billing streams.
- Manage the Aged Trial balance and report on overdue or credit balances.
- Daily processing of admissions, moves, additions, and changes for residents in the allocated Care Homes.
- Review Admission Agreement Documentation to ensure legal requirements are met.
- Make inbound and outbound calls to Care Homes and residents and/or their families.
- Manage and process large volumes of data.
- Generate reports from the Resident Information Management system and provide billing reports.
- Provide month-end reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader on projects and initiatives to develop business efficiencies within the Accounts Receivables team.
What we are looking for:
- 3 years' experience as Accounts Receivable
- Experience working with complex billing methods and different billing parties/pricing structures.
- Proficient in Excel (at least intermediate level) and able to quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Great telephone manner and sensitivity to the concerns of residents/relatives
- Good relationship building skills
- Excellent time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with billing to Health NZ, MSD, DHBs and ACC are an advantage
