About the employer
The employer is a national distributor of new vehicles with a reputation for excellence. New growth is evident in a changing market and with this a need to support senior leadership with a multi-faceted range of HR functions.


The role functions
The position could best be described as HR Generalist. Duties are comprehensive and blend a mix of HR administrative support and HR management activities. This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Optimisation of all HR processes
  • Development of people and culture
  • HR administration including payroll, generating IEA's, data analytics, reporting, streamlining of all HR administrative functions
  • Onboarding activities of all new employees and development of on boarding initiatives
  • Management of all employment relations activities and compliance standards
  • Active management of industrial relations issues
  • Development of culture initiatives
  • Recruitment and talent attraction
  • Placement of job ads, management of applications and provision of advice to leadership on hiring processes



Skills and qualifications required

  • Ideally you will hold a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Human Resource Management). Other formal HR related training is also of consideration
  • A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in the role of HR Manager or Adviser
  • In depth knowledge across all functions of HRM and those functions aforementioned
  • While motor industry experience would be beneficial across the automotive, heavy diesel, ancillary equipment, or other sectors of industry, candidates from other industries sectors will also be considered
