We are looking to appoint a Kaiarataki in a permanent full-time position to join a small but dedicated team at Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University, supporting the portfolio of Students and Global Engagement.
Located on Pukeahu Wellington Campus with a focus on our Student Wellbeing office and assisting the wider SaGE whānau.
Ngā whēako me ngā pukenga e hiahiatia ana:
- Prior experience in advice and leading Tikanga Māori arrangements within a tertiary setting or other educational settings.
- Proficiency and the ability to uphold te mana o Te Reo Māori me ōnā Tikanga across a range of different situations and settings.
- Demonstrates a capacity for providing manaaki-led advice and a proven record of developing strong and effective relationships in the achievement of strategic outcomes.
- The ability to present to and communicate with a range of audiences.
- Proven experience working as part of a highly motivated team and gaining the respect of peers and stakeholders, kia tū kotahi, kia kotahi te whāinga.
- Proven ability to establish and develop effective, authentic relationships with internal groups and external stakeholders.
- He tāngata whai whakatipuranga, future-focused with the ability to make transformative, intergenerational decisions.
