Mō te tūranga | About the Role
The Senior Manager - Commercial Analytics is a key role working in close collaboration with the Chief Analytics and Insights Officer to drive, assess and ensure the Customer Analytics practice aligns with Westpac’s strategic goals, direction, and growth. The role is crucial for driving strategic initiatives through disciplined operational functionality and achieving the desired strategic and performance outcomes.

In this influential position, you will drive key deliverables across Customer Insights & Analytics, including delivery of various multi horizons roadmaps whilst appropriately managing risk. You will be at the forefront of aligning the analytics practice with Westpac NZ's performance, customer, and risk objectives. Your expertise will be essential in providing clear direction and alignment with both Westpac NZ and Westpac Group strategies.

This role requires a strong storyteller with a sharp commercial mindset, someone who fosters collaboration, drives strategic decisions, and can influence and relationship build to an Executive and Board level. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of Westpac, driving innovation and growth in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a strategic/business development role
  • High levels of commercial acumen and risk maturity
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal with the proven ability to articulate concepts and outcomes
  • A strong track record in implementing successful strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management at Executive leadership level, with governance stakeholders, internal business partners, external consultants, and third-party partnerships
  • Financial modelling and scenario planning
